Devops Engineer
There is no longer a clear distinction between system infrastructure/development/deployment, and our standard products as well as our projects drive us to optimize the end user experience and time to market. As customer satisfaction and unburdening the client is key to us, we are looking for someone who makes sure that, whatever software we produce gets to the end user in a qualitative, predictable and ‘easy’ way.
The function of Devops Engineer
- Develop a vision about software delivery by consulting different colleagues
- Support, guide and coach the development teams in their ‘devops’-related assignments
- Be the sparring partner for the colleagues of development and engineering and challenge them
- Align the different teams on the processes (from development to delivery)
- Continuously improve the process of building and delivering the developed software
- Monitor and maintain the necessary tools and infrastructure
- Advise about new technologies
- Contribute to process automation and develop automation tools
Your profile as Devops Engineer
- You have a bachelor’s degree in ICT or are equal by experience. It is a plus if you have experience in development (C#).
- You have an open mind: you are a technical generalist, open to all Microsoft solutions and dare to question business processes or practices.
- “Standardization” and “automation” is your second nature: we make things repeatable and transparent for all stakeholders in our software development and deployment process and we prefer to automate and standardize the processes.
- You are proactive and a quick learner: you want to prevent and predict the problem, not just solve it.
- You are customer oriented
- You have affinity with Development & Architecture, as well as with System Engineering
