This week's tip is very simple but helpful none the less. BESTMIX Quality Control users often have to select items from a list. With this tip we'll show you how you can make these selections easier and quicker.

How?

As an example we will take the selection of an article in a sample but, naturally, selections can also be made in many other types of situations:

As most of you know it is mandatory to select an article in the sample header but most users have a good idea of the code or description they're looking for.

A very quick way of selecting the correct item is the following:

• Type (parts of) the code or description in the correct field.

• Press TAB => this will open the selection list with the filter (on code / description) already applied.

• If needed, you can use the arrows on the keyboard to go to the correct article.
• Press ENTER to select the article of your choice.
