In BESTMIX Feed formulation the availability of ingredients is set up in the plants. This availability avoids that ingredients that are not available in production locations are wrongfully used in compounds.

However, when creating rations, these same ingredients are also used as farmer ingredients where the availability is not an issue and are at the responsibility of the advisor. To make unavailable ingredients for the plant available in the basic ration, an option similar to the possibilities in compounds has been added. With this option, an ingredient is temporarily made available, without making this change permanent in neither the ration nor the plant.

This function is enabled by a setting in the administrative options.
