The customisation of the sample header is a very useful function in BESTMIX Quality Control. It will allow you to make the program more user friendly by only showing the information you need. The sample header can be customised per sample type. Therefore you can have different sample headers for raw materials and for products.This is logical if you consider that for finished products you want to use the recipe number and version, but for raw materials this is not necessary. Also you need supplier info for a raw material, but you need customer info for a product. Additionally you can set up different sample headers for different user groups.

This can be interesting when you want to set up that certain user group cannot see parts of the label header (for example supplier field).

Some possibilities:

• Move labels & input boxes between different tabs (Sample info, Details, …)
• Resize / realign input boxes
• Marking fields as mandatory
• Use custom fields (date, numeric, field list or text) to extend the number of built-in fields and give them your own description
• …
