Nutritional values and compound specifications are vital in any formulation system. Even the smallest change to a single nutrient in a single ingredient can lead to a major shift in the nutritional values and final product composition. It is therefore essential to know which changes were made and by whom.
To give formulation managers an overview of proceedings BESTMIX Feed formulation gives the opportunity to visualise changes made by users. Administrators can easily consult the nutrient values of the ingredient at various different points in time.
How to check the audit trail:
Show changes of a selected date
On the left side of the screen you get an overview of the dates on which the ingredient was changed. When selecting one of the dates administrators get a grid which shows:
- Which analysis value was changed
- What the old value was
- What the new value is
Show changes until a selected date
If a date on the left side is selected administrators can see all the changes that happened with that ingredient until that date (even if nutritional values were changed multiple times).
Show all ingredient analyses of a selected date
When the date is selected administrators get an overview of all the analysis values of an ingredient on a specific date, the values are also compared with the current values.
BESTMIX Feed formulation also allows administrators to roll back to a certain date (via the restore values button) and check who made what changes to a nutrient (for example: when a user made a mistake and changed the nutritional values to the wrong values)
