As ‘capacity-planning’ is a common challenge for nutritional businesses, production based on sales or stock requirements must be planned carefully and meticulously. To ensure the correctness of inventory, Adifo provides an “out of the box” integration with MES software. This integration registers the finished stock of end-products, while at the same time recording any decreases in raw materials. Often, this is done automatically and in real-time with the help of our integrations product – Adifo Data Service (known as ‘ADS’).

This way, if any issues should arise during production, the software monitoring the systems would alert the responsible employee, resolving issues quickly and without any further implications.

The described feature is currently available in Microsoft Dynamics AX2012 R3 based MILAS. Adifo is in the process of transferring this feature along with many other MILAS features to the new Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations platform.
