These days reliable label management is not a luxury, it’s a must. Feed labels are the most important source of information for farmers who want to be sure about the composition of their feed. After all, they have to ensure their animals get the best feed for optimal performance and health.

The label contains all the necessary information about the feed product and all details about the safe and effective use of the feed. In most countries feed producers are obligated to print the available information so it can be kept with the feed product at all time.

To ensure we can support our customers during the entire feed production process we have developed an integration between our formulation software and MILAS AX to handle the exchange of graphical labels.

The label is composed in BESTMIX Feed formulation separately for each composition. Once the new composition is created it is sent to MILAS AX (via an out-of-the-box interface) together with a new automatically generated label. This to prevent any outdated labels to be included with the new feed product.

One of the most important challenges in label generation is related to additives (like medicines): how do you get the label right when you add additives after the feed product is put together? At Adifo we have developed a solutions which we call bulkblending. This allows users to perform real-time label composition for products with additives.

The design of the label is customer-specific and can be tailored to the precise needs of each of your customers. And, thanks to the standard interface, all labels can easily be printed on delivery documents, bags, ....
