Every month we publish a "feature of the month" where we ask one of our consultants to highlight a feature in MILAS AX (our specific ERP modules for Microsoft Dynamics AX). This month Tim De Ryck shares his insights.

The sales template is one of our most praised functionalities. It immediately adds value to an organisation's sales department by improving and speeding up the order entry process:

When a customer calls your sales agent to place an order, MILAS AX automatically provides a list of all the customer's recently ordered products. Naturally the time span can be adjusted to include as many product orders as your sales agent requires. From this list, the sales agent can easily select all of the products that the customer would like to re-order, just by ticking the suggestions. He can also immediately change the quantity of the order if it differs from previous orders.

On top of this MILAS AX also remembers other relevant information related to the previous ordered products. This means that the farmer won’t be surprised by, for example, wrong bag sizes.

When adding products that the customer only wants to order in this single order, the sales agent can add the product via a new order line. By ticking the option “exclude from order template”, this product will not be included in the customer's future order suggestions. Additional comments such as sales prices and advanced price corrections are also automatically assigned by MILAS AX.

All of these features makes entering orders, no matter how small or big, a walk in the park. The customer sales template not only benefits the sales agent by simplifying the order entry procedure; by quickly registering the order it also saves time for your customers.
